Everybody has a story. I’ve often thought of what the title of mine would be. I’ve narrowed it down to two. “The Journey of Grace” and “Great is Thy Faithfulness.” These titles accurately describe my married life.
Follow along with my posts for a while, and you will start to see these themes. My husband and I have a restored marriage. We’ve known poverty coupled with the direct provision of the Lord. We’ve seen some of our hearts desires fulfilled. We’ve heard grace gently call us back when we’ve been off track. We’ve trusted God to provide for what our bank account could not.
I am a mother of five kids ages 0-10. My husband and I have been married for 12 years. We love worshiping God together through music. We have a heart for people to get to know God and grow in that relationship. I enjoy encouraging other moms and even led a moms’ group at our church for a number of years. I have a special place in my heart for women who are trying to hold on to their marriages.
We have some big dreams that we are expectant to see fulfilled, and honestly, some that we have forgotten to hold on to. We know what it’s like to teeter between trying to have and work toward a vision while walking in the mundane of day to day life. Right now I’d say we are trying to remember that just because some things have slowed down or been put on hold because of adding to our family, doesn’t mean we should stop dreaming. We walk through seasons, but each of those seasons end and new ones always begin. Then we look back to see a new chapter to our story.
